LS2000 is a Windows application entirely developed by ITService, using
authorized integration tools
provided by Omega Research.
Our products does not mimick the DBC or other
providers SubServers
(see reverse-engineering).
This approach offers
to our Clients

a superior reliability, allowing full maintenance and
support now and in the
future, as well as the ability to provide further, specific
functionalities when

How it works
TradeStation2000i Compatibility
Drivers provide two components:
- the Compatibility SubServer, residing in
TradeStation2000i, written by ITService using the original
TradeStation API tools
- the LinkServer2000 program, acting as a bridge to the User's
specific Data Feed .
Real
time quotes, as received by the Data Feed application software, will be converted by
LinkServer2000 then sent to TradeStation2000i, to be archived in its
data base and
plotted to the charts. |

Standard Portfolio Symbols management
Adding, replacing and removing Symbols will be entirely
managed by the Symbols Portfolio window thru its standard TS2000i functions:
no need for additional, unuseful "user definition panels" . |

Including Excel as a data source
LS2000 can manage Symbols originating from Excel Foils in
addition to those received by the standard data feed, to allow for
user-defined Synthetic Symbols and/or for applying user algorythms before sending the
quotes to TS2000i . |

Excel Version
LinkServer2000
"Excel Version" is a
light, general-pourpose LinkServer, allowing to quickly interface any sort of data
feeds with TS2000i, without the need of developing specific LS2000 versions. As
prerequisite, the data feeds
must have "DDE links to Excel" capabilities.

LS2000 "Excel Version" may integrate multiple data feeds
within a single TS2000i copy, as it uses Excel Links as the
source for the
quotes. It allows to
create synthetic symbols as well, as the user may apply its own algorythms to
the incoming quotes (by Excel commands and macros) to generate new numerical
values, that will be transferred to TS2000i as they would be true quote values
received by those symbols. |

Single PC :
TradeStation2000i can
run on the same PC together with
the Data Feed application.
Two PC : TradeStation2000i may run
on a dedicated PC, connected thru the LAN to the same
PC running the Data Feed application
. Using a dedicated machine for running TS2000i
provides the highest
reliability and performances . |

Multiple TradeStation2000i
workstations may be fed by a single input source, by a TCP/IP networked version of LinkServer2000 .
This capability must be used in accordance to the
Data Provider's agreements. |
